CAMPING


Spectator Side Motorhome Corral – $1000.00

  • These spaces are 15 ft wide by 30 ft long concrete pads that are trackside with a great view of the racing action and include full hookups (electric [50A, 30A & 110], water & waste) and can accommodate motorhomes and fifth wheel trailers. Each space includes one Motorhome pass and one parking pass for a support vehicle, guests and additional vehicles must park in the spectator parking lot. The Southside Motorhome Corral Site Fee does not include any tickets to the event and you will have to purchase tickets to the event.

Pit Side Motorhome Corral – $500.00

  • These spaces are 25 ft wide, situated trackside on the pitside of the track, and includes one motorhome pass and one support vehicle parking pass, additional guests and vehicles must park in the spectator parking lot. Motorhomes must be self-contained, the pitside motorhome spaces include NO electric, water or waste hookups. We will have a service company that will make rounds to pump out waste and deliver water for a fee. The space does not include tickets to the event. Tickets must be purchased separately.

“Back Forty” Campground – $200.00

  • This is located on the north side of the track and has an entrance to the pit area of the track. The Back Forty Campground spaces are primitive, dry camping spaces. All trailers and motorhomes must be self-contained and will be available on a first come, first served basis. Each campsite includes a camping pass for the space and one support vehicle pass. The campsite does not include tickets to the event. Tickets must be purchased separately.

BACK FORTY CAMPGROUND RULES

The following camping methods have been approved for the use in the campground: Motor coaches, motor homes, travel trailers, pick-ups with camper tops, pop-up trailers, tents, cars, trucks and buses.

  • NO GLASS CONTAINERS are allowed in the campground.
  • Open fires are not allowed. Please contain all cooking fires to grills, smokers or bar-b-cue pits. Open fires will not be tolerated at any time.
  • No fireworks within city limits as stated by ENNIS CITY ORDINANCE #80-11-5 AND #86-6-5.
  • No handguns permitted.
    • a. “Pursuant to Section 30.06, Penal Code (trespass by license holder with a concealed handgun), a person licensed under Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code (concealed handgun law), may not enter this property with a concealed handgun.”
    • b. “Pursuant to Section 30.07, Penal Code (trespass by license holder with an openly carried handgun), a person licensed under Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code (handgun licensing law), may not enter this property with a handgun that is carried openly.”
  • Please do not dump your waste water on the ground. We have contracted a sanitation company to come through the park each evening to collect your waste water. They will be in the area each day.
  • We have provided trash bags for your convenience. When they become full, place them along one of the roadways for collection. We will give you a fresh bag upon your request. You may pick them up at the registration tent at the entrance of the campground. Please dispose of your trash properly. Let’s keep the park clean for everyone.
  • Please observe the NO PARKING areas designated by the flags and lines. These areas are not to be occupied by any type of vehicle not authorized by the Campground Coordinator. If you are unsure, please ask a staff member for assistance. These areas are for staff access, special events and equipment. Parking in these areas may cause you and your motor home to be removed from the facility.
  • There is a water station on the northwest side of the park. There is no charge for water. Please use the station to fill your tanks, but do not hook up to them permanently. The water station is for fill up only.
  • You are allowed one (1) additional support vehicle to stay with you during the event. The support vehicle can be a car or motorcycle but it cannot be a camping vehicle.
  • ATV’s, UTV’s, 4 Wheelers, 3 Wheelers, Golf Carts or any other motorized vehicle, other than cars or trucks, ARE NOT ALLOWED to leave the campground through the main entrance or the spectator walk-through entrance. Motorcycles, bicycles or any other vehicles ARE NOT ALLOWED to be taken into the pit area.
  • Please do not plug into the light tower generators. These are in place for security only.
  • Bags of ICE will be sold at the entrance gate.
